It started with a box.
Big Box came to us with a general concept for their online ordering system, the name Big Box, and the idea that the food would be delivered and presented to customers in a simple box. Our job was to take these concepts and devise a comprehensive brand package as well as an organizational strategy for the online ordering system and marketing rollout.
Telling the story from a strategic position.
The process of branding Big Box began with several strategy sessions where we worked with the client to understand their potential customers, their current sales goals, and their plans for the future. This allowed us to focus on a core group who we knew we needed to reach. Those strategy sessions drove the creative process and the design of the logo and packaging and would play a vital role in the creation of the marketing playbook and social media strategy.
Creating the online ordering experience.
With the brand in place and the marketing efforts ready to go, we tackled the complex task of planning and designing the Big Box online ordering system. In other words, creating a simple, user-friendly interface that accomplished the very complex task of user-driven custom catering orders. Referencing the customer profiles we had identified in the strategy phase, we were able to plan and design a simple user interface that made ordering a snap.

Our strategy-first approach with Big Box allowed us to not only create a unique branding system that perfectly represents who Big Box is, but also allowed us to pinpoint their customer base and market directly to potential customers who we know are searching for a solution like Big Box.
